We’ve all been there. Sunday rolls around. You’re a little rusty from the 5th glass of wine you had the night before. But you’re still kinda craving some wine…

Enter Giesen 0%, an alcohol free Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

Liz has been up in Vermont and Tina down in Easthampton, NY. Instead of going into yet another Netflix bingeing hole we decided to do a little self care Sunday, which include masking (the other kind), reading, and wine drinking together from afar and it felt like the perfect opportunity to pop this bottle open.

Not going to lie, we’ve always been a bit skeptical about alcohol free wines. Normally they just taste like grape juice, but this one really does taste like wine!

For nearly four decades (aka longer than we’ve been alive), the Giesen brothers have been making great wines. This is their first alcohol free wine and it just launched this past January. Their hope is that everyone can now enjoy vino–it’s pretty awesome to have this as an option and not have any of the negative after effects that sometimes come with wine.

The winemakers go through the whole process of making a premium wine before gently removing the alcohol. The wine was crisp, refreshing, and mouth watering, with notes of citrus flavors, passionfruit, and blackcurrant. Basically your classic Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc.

We joked that this wine kind of made the idea of being pregnant one day a little more bearable.
